It’s been about 5 full months since launching MAB FIT OPT! I am so grateful to have started this side of my business! It has been a phenomenal experience so far and every month I hear more positive feedback from people having amazing results with this innovative technology.
Because this is such revolutionary approach to traditional personal training, I do still get questions on what exactly OPT is. Most people want to know how personal one-on-one sessions compare to online training. Today, I would like to cover some of those commonly asked questions.
What is O.P.T.?
- First it is O . P . T. (not “opt” like you would opt out of something) which is abbreviation for Online Personal Training.
- Like many of the apps installed on your phone or even computer, MABFIT is also able to be installed onto your phone. Because everything is done ONLINE, that means every exercise that is customized for you, by me is on your phone. Every exercise, workout, nutrition plan is right there on your phone.
- How does O.P.T. work?
- Once you purchase a package from www.mabfit.net/opt, you then download the app and setup your user profile.

- During the “consultation” stage, you will be asked a bunch of questions which are designed to find out more about your fitness goals, as well as your challenges and limitations. You will be asked questions such as:
- Do you have any injuries current or have you had any in the past 3 years?
- Do you have any physical limitations (asthma, arthritis, knee, back, shoulder pain etc)
- Where will you be exercising? Home or at a gym?
- If at home, what kind of equipment do you have.
- What are your favorite activities?
- What are your least favorite activities?
- What are your goals specifically?
- Are you training for a competition, race, mud run, bike race, etc.
- Will you need nutritional assistance?
- How much time do you plan on working out? Days? And length of time?

- Based on your answers, you will receive a custom MAB Fit designed exercise program.

- If you purchase one of our enhanced packages (Getting Serious or All-In), it may take an average of 24 – 48 hours (Monday-Friday) to finalize your program. The reason why additional time is needed is because our enhanced programs included additional days of training and are specifically tailored to each person’s individual objectives. Every exercise, every set, every rep, and every rest break is designed to maximize results.

- With all plans you also get instructional videos for each exercise to ensure that you are performing everything with correct form and technique. These videos are provided directly through the app on your mobile device!

- All plans also provide access to a massive library of freestyle exercises, a direct messenger linked to your profile, personal dashboard showing your results, and unlimited tracking capabilities. All of these features are again, available through that same mobile app.

- You never have to make an appointment to meet with me, meaning you can workout when you want and wherever you want.

- Plus, you have the ability to print out your workout and nutrition plans and keep them to refer back to any time you want.

- AND THERE’S NO GYM MEMBERSHIP FEE!
One-on-One Personal Training:
- First time clients typically schedule a consultation to meet and discuss goals, concerns, cost, etc. (there is a fee for that – $$)
- From there, we make consistent weekly or multi-week appointments to try and match your schedule and mine (you pay upfront at each session – $$)
- If you miss your session there is a charge (another fee – $$).
- Your workout program is created and customized by MAB Fit to meet your goals. However, you do not receive a written plan (nothing to print/save/refer back to)
- If the weather is bad, you’re on vacation, you have car issues, etc. it is highly likely that you will not make it to your one-on-one session that day. With online training you the flexibility to train around these everyday nuances (don’t miss your workouts)
- In order to receive the same information through traditional personal training as O.P.T. it would require 4 “in-person” sessions per week equally $560 in a 4-week period (that’s 7X our most expensive training-only O.P.T. package – $$$$)
When you weigh out the pros and the cons, with O.P.T. you get… a much greater value for your money, extreme flexibility, a better way to track your training, a plan you can keep, and so much more!
