Law of Attraction
Have you ever been with those close to you, the ones you may have known since you were child, and thought “wow, Betty is always negative” or “Bob sure is miserable all the time.” Have you ever gone as far to ask them why they are this way only to get responses of negativity or everything always happens to me, my life sucks, can’t catch a break, etc. Have you put yourself in their shoes for a moment to try and understand why they are like this in hopes to maybe help them?
Most times we don’t because we do not want to invade in their privacy. Hoping they will get over it eventually. Have you ever caught yourself acting like Betty or Bob? Acting like it for long stretches of time and wondering how the heck do I get out of this funk!
Most times the reasoning comes back to who you are surrounding yourself with on a regular basis. Whether friends, family, co workers. If you recall my article on energy you will know that what we send out into the world comes back. If negative energy is sent out, negative energy is coming back. Should the people you “hang” out with be sending out junk then be prepared to have the junk affect you. And it’s no surprise really; it’s the Law of Attraction.
Very few people are even aware of the Law of Attraction, and how much of impact it makes on their daily lives.
Law of Attraction- Ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on
Basically, whatever we are thinking about all the time eventually turns into something whether you realize it or not.
Ever wonder why there are some people who are genuinely happy, no worries; just seem to move freely without too much concern…Law of Attraction. Those people mastered that whatever they think about happens. In turn they think about a great life, positivity, kindness, finding the good in everything.
Then you have those people who always seem to have bad “luck”. Nothing ever seems to go their way, they’re always sick, there’s always an issue, they hate life, etc…….Law of Attraction.
How do you master the Law of Attraction? Well, I am not 100% sure as I myself am a work in progress. However, each day I practice mastering it. It’s fairly simple as long as your mind is open to having great things come your way; you get rid of the selfishness, incorporate serving others, and are consistent.
Each night I go to bed and before I close my eyes I list in my head or out loud 10 things I am thankful for that day. In the morning I get up, dress, and brush my teeth and look in the mirror at the message I wrote on it; I read it, I believe, I let it sink far into my brain. (So far pretty easy) Kitchen rush of lunches, breakfast, kids’ craziness, and keeping everyone on schedule. Sound familiar? Out the door, I find 10min to meditate…to sit in stillness…to let my mind go…to only focus on my breathe. After, I make sure to thank God for the day and to continue blessing our family. Off to work, making sure that the signal I am sending out to each client I meet with is positive, has purpose, and possibly changes their perspective for the day.
REPEAT EVERY DAY UNTIL IT BECOMES A HABIT
If go out shopping, run an errand, go for a walk; there’s a smile on my face.
Law of Attraction
Now obliviously we all have not so great days, and that is perfectly normal. There are moments I want to cry out of frustration and sometimes just sadness. I have learned to let it happen, accept it, acknowledge it, and move on from it. And do so rather quickly so it does not consume me and drag me down, thus sending out negative energy.
Your choice is to continue in the craziness of your mind, or start to understand how your mind works. My hope for you is you learn to channel the positivity and send it out. My hope for you is to re evaluate your current circle of friends/family and realize who is lifting you up or bringing you down. My hope for you is to better yourself, to grow yourself, to love yourself. Because once you accomplish those things the world is an open book of greatness.
