MAB FIT is dedicated to helping people achieve their personal fitness and wellness goals. Owner Mary A. Barnes is an independent, self-motivated, highly-driven personal trainer who has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years. She is committed to helping individuals find their way to a healthier lifestyle. In addition to tradition and online personal training, MAB Fit specializes in sports nutrition; high intensity interval training (HIIT); competitive bodybuilding/figure/physique preparation; and grueling “bootcamp” style workouts. She is focused on creating challenging workouts that will push individuals to their maximum potential. At the same time, her #1 priority is to maintain form and safety by never exceeding a person’s physical limits. MAB Fit strives to make a positive impact on every single client she comes in contact with. Mary makes it a point to listen, understand, and genuinely care about each client’s concerns, goals, and expectations. When you train with MAB Fit, you get more than just a workout. At MAB Fit, you not only get someone who you can trust to help you cross the finish line but will also be right beside you when you do! Now, let’s go out there together and DO THE WORK!

ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING – Online coaching through our personal app and fitness software!

TRADITIONAL PERSONAL TRAINING – One-on-one training at our gym or a pre-arranged location.

GROUP SESSIONS – Groups of 6-20 people moving through various workout stations designed test your abilities.

NUTRITION PLANS – Meal plans, nutrition info, and weekly checks to help better understand how to feed your body.

BODYBUILDING, PHYSIQUE, & FIGURE COMPETITION PREPARATION – In-depth info about competition dieting, workout plans, on-stage routines, body prep, and much more (for experienced individuals looking to take it to the next level).

 

MARY’s BIO

Mary A. Barnes (MAB Fit owner) acquired her first personal fitness certification over 18 years ago. During that 18+ year time period, she continues to pursue the latest training and nutrition techniques. She feels it is essential to always stay informed about the infinitely growing and changing fitness world. Today, Mary is ISSA Certified and uses a vast array of training techniques to help her clients breakthrough personal barriers. Her passion is to help as many individuals as she can.

Mary enjoys weight training and is still an active Physique competitor when her schedule allows for the rigorous competition commitment. Mary first competed in bodybuilding about 14 years ago and has placed first through third in each of the 10+ competitions she has completed. Mary also enjoys traveling, hiking and other outdoor activities, and trying new adventures.

Mary holds a high standard of “family first!” She is a loving mother of two young handsome athletic boys and proactively teaches them about living a healthy, positive, and adventurous lifestyle. She has a supportive husband and training partner who also competes alongside of her in bodybuilding competitions.
