Neophoboia = Fear of Something New
Hi All! Welcome to fall, finally! Crisp air, leaves falling, a lot less to zero humidity! I LOVE IT! Some do not, and I get it. CHANGE! I’ve been changing up my OPT packages last week, and if you didn’t see the videos or posts, everything was released on Monday October 15th. Why did I make the changes? Glad you asked! When I started this journey of OPT, it was scarey for me, seriously, I had to change my mindset, I needed to make a jump to be able to reach more people, and I needed for my personal development to expand. The last one may throw you a bit. As humans we tend to stay in our “comfort” zones. We do not like a lot of change or “new routines”, or people trying to change us. We make up all kinds of excuses to stay right where we are, even though we complain about it regularly. I really felt like I wasn’t giving as much as I could or should be. Kinda like treading water, staying mediocre, wanting to do more but again scared of the changes I would have to take in order to do more.
HERE I AM! SIX months into my MABFIT OPT business and I am so thankful I did change my mindset! Thankful for my husband for dealing with the tears, the aggravation, the decisions, and most of all taking a big part of his mindset to combine with my vision. Mind you, we work hand in hand with the behind the scenes details of OPT, and sometimes…let’s say sometimes our vision(s) are not the same. Lol
Why tell you all of this? Because it is soooo important for you to get out of your comfort zone and do something to lift your personal growth UP! To spread your wings a little and feel the possibilities, the what ifs, the adrenaline of doing something NEW!
For those of you who may be intimidated about going to a gym, about trying a new type of exercise, or even exercising at all. Let this be your NEW! Everyday we get to wake up to a fantastic gift! ANOTHER DAY! Another day to do better, be better, do more, give more, try more! EVERY SINGLE DAY! Some days don’t always go the way we want, or the way we had planned. But you always get tomorrow! On a great day you set personal bests, complete more reps, and lift a little harder.
