Time to sit back and unwind….Summer time
What’s Your Plan for Summer
4 Weeks!
The first day of summer is 4 weeks away! We made it! We made it through a very long, cold, winter. Then the rain came …”Falling on my head like a memory, falling on my head like a new emotion”….WHOOPS sorry about that, the Eurythmics entered my head! And if you don’t know who they are, you are waaayyy younger than I. lol Anyway, Summer!
Warm, SUN!, Happy, SMILING Faces, bare bodies ……um hmmm, sunscreen, shorts, beach towels, sand, spending way too much money on a crappy beach front hotel.
Let’s go back to the “bare bodies”. Are you summer shape ready? Are you feeling the rainy day bloat? The winter flab still hangin on? WHY? YOU DIDN’T DO THE WORK!
There’s still time. FOUR WEEKS!! Or are you going to say “screw it” I’ll just play the part of Shammoo again this summer.
I could go on and on about planning ahead and how you should have been motivated over the winter months to get your rear in gear and move and eat better. BUT I can only do so much! I give the tools, YOU have to use them! So if your tools are rusty, misplaced, or you completely forget how to use them. Time to dig them out and put them to work.
Some Tips to jump start your 4 weeks in order importance

- Bypass the beer…..yes, I said beer (and I do like beer too!)
- Skip the processed crap (no pre packaged boxes)
- TURN OFF THE TV!! Yes, seriously, make your own reality show by going for a walk, or hey better yet sign up for my group session.
- EAT MORE FREQUENTLY AND THE RIGHT FOODS – this is where MAB FIT OPT nutrition can really benefit you.
- PROTEIN PROTEIN PROTEIN
- VEGGIES!!!!
- MOVE YOUR BUTT
- PICK UP THINGS HEAVIER THAN YOUR PURSE
Grab a friend and get moving! Make better choices at the grocery store. Stop making excuses that your family won’t eat that. GUESS WHAT!! If you don’t give them other options they will eventually eat that, and trust me, they won’t starve if they don’t! Stop putting yourself LAST!
I promise you that even if you put half of these items to work consistently you will feel better, have a better mental perspective, and actually you may start liking the new you.
