What WILL YOU DO this year

That’s a pretty loaded question, honestly.  But a good one to ask yourself. I’m sure some of you have set some goals/resolutions; I am also sure some of you are just glad 2017 is over.   What’s your plan for 2018?  Did you know, less than 3% of people have clear goals, and less than 1% ever write them down properly.  If you are serious about achieving those goals, to be successful at obtaining them you have to do what only 3% of people do.

If you are truly setting goals for this year (or already have) have you done the following

~It must be meaningful to you (don’t just say…”I want to loose 5-10lbs”) that’s not meaningful enough to have an impact.

~WHY do you want it

~Are you disciplined enough with your goal to let it consume you.

~Believe in it (not just saying “I believe it” but really whole heatedly BELIEVE IT!”)

~Ready to overcome nay sayers, fear, and rejection

~Truly you like yourself

~Belief that you are deserving and worth your goal

~Willing to learn a new way of thinking, behaving, talking, reacting.

~Faith in yourself

~Courage to take risks

~Created a well thought out plan, detailed

~DID YOU WRITE IT OUT CLEARLY

A goal is something that you will go above and beyond to achieve, to reach for the upper limits and go beyond what’s necessary to get it,  it is being fearless when you are scared shitless to do “new” things.   Now, go back and look at your goal(s).  Do they fit this description?

Most people will fail at their goal(s) because their goal is not BIG enough to actually be meaningful to them. If they fall off track, miss a day, make an excuse, they  justify it in their head.  A true goal, one of utmost importance to you, one of value to your life/family, will be put first and foremost.

So how do you achieve it.  Just like writing it down and being clear and descriptive, there are steps to achieve it.

1.WANT IT

2. BELIEVE IT

3.SEE IT

4. WRITE IT

5. JFDI (my new 2018 saying) Just Fucking Do IT!

6. Join a group with similar interest

7. WORK ON IT DAILY

8. BE DECISIVE

9.Learn something new / stretch your thinking/ get out of the box!

10. Expand on what you do

11. BE TENACIOUS

If I were talking face to face right now I am sure I would see some eye rolling, sighs, and “geesh that’s alot”. JFD!  How bad do you want to achieve your goal?

Over the course of 2017 my husband and I started reading books and listening to audio books as a way to expand our knowledge, to get of the box that everyone is stuck in.  Those books were motivation books, empowering books, self discipline books, confidence books, habit books, financial books, marketing books, becoming a better person books, faith in God books, you name it we probably have read it or its on our reading list.  In 2017 , I completed 16 books (my goal was 10).  My husband completed 122 books.  A majority of his are audio since he drives/travels more than I.  Did we learn anything, HELL YES!  Has it improved our thinking, our outlook on life, our finances, our future…ABSOLUTELY.

My point is not to pressure you into reading 100 books this year. My point is, do something to better your self so in turn you can have a positive impact on others around you.  We also incorporated meditation in 2017.  I can not think of anything more powerful than being able to control your thoughts in a positive way.  Meditation alone has changed how I react to situations, negativity, stress, life in general.

My husband and I have our goals. We set individual ones and ones together.  Our goal this year is to positively impact the lives of as many people we can through my fitness business and through our financial business that we have together.   Financially FIT in 2018!

Are you ready to tackle your goal?  Should you need help in writing it or achieving it, I am here to assist in anyway I can.
