Reflecting on 2015

A new year is fast approaching!  2015 was very “challenging” for some of us and eye opening to what really matters in life; material vrs. irreplaceable.  I have the honor of talking with many individuals on a weekly basis. What I hear is desperation for wanting to belong, to be a part of something, to feel valued, to feel important, to have more self worth/self confidence, and to find purpose in your life.  As I listen, offer advise where I can, give a hug when needed and extend encouragement, one thing remains the same…YOU ARE IMPORTANT!   I look into eyes that shout pain, but your body is being tough to try to cover it up.

What I am getting at is, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! We, me, us! We all have the doubtful feelings of parts of our every day lives, and it’s okay.  What’s not ok is wallowing in that doubt while letting negativity consume you and ooze from the inside out affecting those around you.  It takes strength, will power, and motivation to dig yourself out of that doubt.  BUT YOU CAN DO IT!  It is easy to say “chin up”, “suck it up it buttercup”, but YOU have to believe it!  Never doubt your abilities to be better, to be stronger mentally and physically, to be the person you know you can be but might be afraid to confront.

My goal for myself and for you is to end 2015 with a positive mind set.  Have thankfulness to have been blessed with another year (even with it’s trials and tribulations).  Strive to feel STRONGER and more CONFIDENT, and to know your SELF- WORTH is more valuable than anything in this world!

DO THE WORK
